Prayer Chain

Each of our women’s groups has a prayer chain in place and can be mobilized for prayer at a moment’s notice in the event of crisis or emergency. This is done via email as well as by phone.

Prayer Partners

Our women’s groups also have prayer partners that they lift up in prayer and do random acts of kinds for each other.

Prayer Vigils

Our evangelism committee sponsors a 12 hour prayer vigil several times throughout the year. This is a time set aside to focus specific prayer for our church, our community, our nation, and our world.

Bi-Weekly Prayer List

The names of those hospitalized are printed each week in the bulletin. Prayer requests are printed bi-weekly and made available to all members of our congregation so that specific prayer requests can be easily found.

Devotionals

The Daily Bread and The Upper Room devotional magazines are available to church members and visitors at no charge. Each year members and friends of our church along with members from Zion Community Church write our own devotional booklets for Lent and Advent. There are more than 200 of these devotional booklets given out each year. Contact person Claudia Cuddy.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

On September 15th the Women’s Tuesday morning Bible Study will pick up where they left off, beginning their fall study in Hebrews 6 The Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study meets at 10 AM on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. If there is a fifth Tuesday, the women meet for a time of prayer and praise.

Tuesday Night Bible Study

The Tuesday evening women's Bible study group will resume in September with the Beth Moore DVD study “To Live Is Christ”. Contact Linda Turk for more information.

Men's Bible Study

The Promise Keeper’s Men’s Bible Study meets on Thursday evenings at the church at 7:00 p.m. throughout the year. We welcome any man who would like to be involved in this study in order to strengthen his faith.
