Wednesday Night Live

We want to make Jesus look glorious in the life of our church, our community, our world. Take part in displaying Him through one of our ministries.
Every Wednesday Night
January 13 - May
Dinner 6 - 7 PM
Breakout Groups 7 - 8 PM

Everyone is invited to come out on Wednesday nights, when the church will be alive with food, fellowship and activities. Come out and fellowship around the tables over a light meal. Then choose from a variety of activities and programs to participate in. There will be something for everyone! Come out and try it! There is no charge for the dinner, but donations will be accepted for those who care to contribute.

Child care will be provided through 1st grade.  If your child can’t find a group, we have a quiet room where homework could be done with adult tutoring assistance up to 4th grade.

Kidz Klub

Kidz Klub, led by Del Mundorf, is for those in grades 2–6, focusing on a study of the Life of Christ.

Youth

For grades 7 through 12. Be a part of our group looking at the world and what it offers, as we compare it to what the Bible says.

Dare to Be Uncommon

Ted Frett leads this six-week men-only class based on the book of the same name by Tony Dungy, former coach of the NFL World Champion Indianapolis Colts.  The book focuses on the various aspects of your life, and how these should be connected to your relationship to Christ.

Women Of Faith

EUM’s Women of Faith presents the Original Women of Faith Conference on DVD, featuring Patsy Clairmont, Lucy Swindoll, Anita Renfroe and others.  Come and join us to share in laughter, perhaps some tears, but each week, to be inspired by women who walk in faith.   Led by Jane Koponick

Women to Women

Join our multi-age group each Wednesday for an hour of sharing, learning, laughing, and leaning on each other as we “wear the hats” of mother, daughter, grandmother, friend, and sister; led by Judy Frett.

Knitting

Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit?  Well, here’s your chance...young or older, male or female. With Klara Comninos.
Raise funds for your cause!...Here is an excellent opportunity for all of our groups, Bible studies and committees (i.e., Boy Scouts, circles, youth groups or any organization which uses the church)

We at Wednesday Night Live are coming to you now so your groups can start planning to be a part of our fall session. Your group can join in by claiming a Wednesday to provide the light supper, in an effort to raise funds for your specific need or program. This is a great opportunity as we have raised over $100 on some nights from donations. When you find a night that suits your group, just write in the name of your group on the events calendar on the wall outside of the office. Also briefly list your menu and your cause. You would need to have this written in at least one week ahead of your night so Laurie could put it into the bulletin. If it is early enough, she could include it in the Echoes.

Our past dinners have ranged from Italian casseroles to soups to baked potatoes with the toppings and we base it on about 80 people eating. There are a few crock pots in the kitchen which can be used. There are also two steam tables in the pantry. People arrive to eat between 6 & 7 with some dashing in to grab a bowl or plate of food and scooting off to their classes. You would need to check ahead on paper products and plastic ware in the pantry to make certain that you have enough for your night. You also need to be there to start coffee and have other drinks, as you choose.

Thank you for helping to make this community outreach possible and successful for your group. If you have any questions, please contact Russ Riggins.
